The former Tipperary goalkeeper Brendan Cummins and Limerick’s Shane Dowling was on The Sunday Game on Sunday evening and have come in heavy fire for their opinions of the hurling Cork played on Sunday in the All-Ireland under 20’s final.
Cummins said Cork are find and big and fine and strong.
Dowling feels that Cork need to bring this aggression through to their senior team.
“What’s Cork’s criticism the last few years, that they’re too soft. They need a couple of dogs. And it’s no harm to see them there today. And overall, Cork need to bring that into the senior team going forward.”

The two lads sounded like 2 cave men talking tough. I wouldn't mind but they were both exceptional ballers who never had to do any of that as they let their skills do the talking.

My 3 sons play gaa and rugby at under age in waterford up to minor level and I can honestly say at this moment they're safer on the rugby field than on the gaa field. I can't encourage them to play a sport where tackles like the one on cormac egan is not deemed a red card

Very poor critique by Cummins and Dowling on the U20 final. Seemingly its okay to condone cynical play / win at all costs. CORK are a very good team and did not need to adopt quite negative tactics to win the game.
