See the goals that put Ireland’s U21s top of their European qualifying group

Stephen Kenny’s under-21s have won their Euro qualifier in Sweden.

Troy Parrott scored twice in Kalmar to give the Republic of Ireland U21s a 3-1 win over Sweden.

Sweden had taken the lead in the first half thanks to a 20-yard curler from Mattias Svanberg.

However, the Spurs man came on as a second-half substitute and pulled Ireland level after Aaron Connolly saw a penalty saved just after the hour mark.

With three minutes of normal time remaining, Conor Masterson then gave Ireland the lead with a powerful header from a corner.

Parrott then finished the tie with a breakaway goal two minutes into injury time to leave Kenny’s side top of Group 1, having won three games out of three.
