What a game of football that was on Sunday between Kerry and Dublin and it’s an awful shame that we don’t get to see more of these matches. It went right down to the wire with Sean O’Shea being the hero for the Kingdom and stepping up to knock over a last minute free kick for Kerry.
There was a moment in the game that is causing huge debate on social media, the penalty that O’Shea took and the Dublin goalkeeper Evan Comerford saved. People aren’t happy with the follow up from Sean O’Shea.
Surely the ball was there to be one and O’Shea is surely entitled to go for it? None the less you can read the debate below from twitter users;
Disappointing that the Sunday Game didn’t focus a bit more on the antics. I don’t buy the anti-Ulster bias but the fake injury from Comerford at the penalty should have been questioned more and reference should have been made to the shaking of the goals.

Sean O’Shea had every right to pull on that…. pic.twitter.com/XVl5ND3joN

Sean O'Shea gets to the ball first and Kevin McStay thinks he will be lucky to get away with a red card. Comerfors should have gotten yellow for feigning injury in the original incident! #KerryvDublin

Nah, it's reckless. Going for the ball is not the same thing as booting the keeper in the face and standing on his head. They're two different things. It's a red card every day of the week.

It’s going to make for a cracking final between Kerry and Galway in two weeks time. Sure Sam Maguire is coming back down to Kerry.
