Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has today gone viral for chewing on his daughter’s toenails – but it shouldn’t be a COMPLETE surprise, the man has previous.
Scholes, who is ranked among the best midfielders in football history as a result of his superb performances for club and country over a number of years, has clearly lost his marbles a little since hanging up his boots.
On Saturday afternoon, as the Premier League action unfolded on our TV screens, football fans were ‘treated’ with a video shared by Scholes’ daughter on Instagram, during which he can be seen biting her toenails.

While Scholesy has never before been publicly spotted engaging in any form of toenail-related activity, he has been pulled up on his behaviour towards his daughter – who he’s clearly an admirer of.
Perhaps he’s just a really supportive father, which is something we can absolutely get behind.
That said, the toenail biting needs to stop, with his daughter also needing to recognise that sharing a video of it was always going to spark this sort of reaction on social media.
He may well have some choice words for her when he finds out…
