The three time Major winner Padraig Harrington looked a dejected character as it was official that Team USA were the winners of the Ryder Cup. The Irishman came in for some heavy criticism after the loss and some people were saying that he got the match ups wrong. Surely that’s a bit harsh, when you look at the talent in that USA team it was always going to be a massive asked for Team Europe.

With an average age of 29 within the USA team it could be a long time till Europe lift the Ryder Cup again. Who will be the next Ryder Cup captain, whoever it is they have a big job on their hands.
