Ryan Giggs’ Departure From Manchester United Is Set To Be Announced

Ryan Giggs ‘ career at Manchester United ends at midnight and the Welshman could announce his departure tonight when he makes his punditry debut for ITV.

Giggs has flown to Paris to join the British broadcasters for their coverage of Euro 2016 and will make his punditry debut at tonight’s quarter-final between Poland and Portugal.

It is very likely Giggs will be asked about his future and, with his United contract as assistant manager expiring at midnight, the 42-year-old could finally confirm his departure from the club.

Giggs is expected to end his 29-year association with United after he was offered a ‘downgraded’ role which would have seen him cut from Mourinho’s matchday staff.

Ryan Giggs is out of contract at Man Utd this week for the first time since he was a child and has been cut from Jose Mourinho’s coaching staff.
