Russian boxer Maxim Dadashev (28) has passed away after being placed in a medically induced coma to undergo brain surgery following his loss to Subriel Matias on Friday night.
Dadashev was urged by Buddy McGirt to stop fighting but he refused and sadly died as a result of his injuries.
He underwent a two-hour surgery to relieve bleeding of the brain but sadly he did not recover and died from injuries according to trainer Buddy McGirt and Donatas Janusevicius, Dadashev’s strength and conditioning coach.
