The South African prop Steven Kitshoff went into surgery this week on a neck operation and some of the pictures that are coming out online are pretty brutal and show the effects of the game of rugby union and especially being a member of the front row union.
PRAYERS PLEASE:
Springboks Rugby player, Steven Kitshoff, had a, six and a half hour long, neck operation in Stellenbosch. The news from the doctor was not good. His rugby days are over.
A piece of his hip bone was used to "fuse" his neck vertebrae. pic.twitter.com/LupWIwWYqe
