The Premiership final took place in West London on Saturday afternoon between both Leicester Tigers and Bath Rugby at Twickenham Stadium. The legendary tight-head prop Dan Coles had a sad end to what was a great career for both Leicester and England.

Really tough seeing Dan Cole’s career end like that.#GallagherPremFinal

Here are some of the comments online:
By the book it’s a yellow. But discretion definitely could’ve been used. Pen no yellow doesn’t change the result
That yellow totally undeserved. This will hurt for Old King Cole, but given time and some reflection, he will be able to reflect on a stellar club and International career. One wrong decision should not and will not define him for rugby, Leicester, England and Lions fans!
Carl Dixon, he was always going to leave his mark… I think it as extreme, it was clumsy at best and deserved to be a penalty but not a yellow card… very harsh, and I not a Tigers either….🤷🏼♂️
I would have prefaced to see him on the field at 80min. A great servant of the sport.
Alas, he brought this conclusion to his playing career on himself.
It was pretty reckless. Considering the experience of Coles and Youngs, there was some poor decisions today from them both.
