Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim hit the headlines on Sunday after he described his team as “the worst maybe in the history” of the club.
Amorim had made the comment after United’s 3-1 defeat to Brighton on Sunday.
The 39-year-old also damaged a TV in the dressing-room during a post-match rant at Old Trafford.

When asked by TNT Sports if he regretted making the comments, Amorim said: “The way [I said it], clearly.
“I have a responsibility, and I need to think sometimes better in the way I say it.
“That time it was really hard for me. I think I have good things in the way I deal with everything, but sometimes I make mistakes and it’s really hard for me to hide frustration in some moments.”

“Maybe that was the problem. I need to calm down. I always do, but on that day it was really hard, maybe because of frustration.
“It’s sometimes really hard for me to hide this frustration. But that’s it, I will try not to focus a lot on that.
“I’m happy that I said those things in a different way in the dressing room, it was not that I spoke publicly and not to the players.”
Tonight his United side take on Scottish giants, Rangers at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils currently sit in 7th in the newly revamped Europa League format with Rangers in 8th.
