The former Manchester United and Irish captain Roy Keane is on ITV for the World Cup and he believes that England and Wales should have stuck to their guns and held out with the OneLove 🏳️‍🌈 armband.

Fair play to Roy Keane, because there’s no doubt that FIFA would have never given any player a yellow card for wearing the armband. There would be an even bigger backlash if they did. Keane knows all about sticking to you guns, over 20 years ago since Keane left the World Cup when Ireland were in it. A World Cup that Ireland could have done even better at, if the Cork man decided to hang around.
