Roy Keane: “This is the problem, they are bad champions.”

The Cork man was taking no prisoners again today and blunt as ever in his summary of Liverpool’s defence of their crown and the excuses they made.

“They all believed their own hype. I never heard any of the players talk about doing it again, they were celebrating last year. This is the problem, they are bad champions.” See the Video below;

Roy Keane won seven titles at Manchester United and was the main man and captain of that great treble winning team in the 1999 and won trophies before and after the treble season. So Keane knows all about back it up year in year out.

Liverpool are now ten points behind Manchester City and it looks like the league is as good as done. Liverpool have had some awful luck with injuries, but all the same is that not part of football says the former Irish captain, is this not Liverpool?
