The Manchester United legend has revealed that he did not speak with Ryan Giggs for six months after they had a falling out.
Roy Keane will undoubtedly go down in Premier League history as one of the greatest captains to ever play as he led his side to countless pieces of silverware during his career in Manchester.
But this approach occasionally led to conflict with opponents and even his teammates as he demanded the best from everybody around him.
Speaking on Sky Bet’s Stick to Football podcast, Keane revealed that he stopped speaking to teammate Giggs for ‘five to six months’ after a falling out.
‘I fell out with ‘Giggsy’ [Ryan Giggs], he wouldn’t do a function one time at the club – I was fuming with him. Me and ‘Giggsy’ didn’t speak for five or six months!’ He said via the Daily Mail.
‘You know [as a player] when you have to do something for your club – nobody wants to do anything at the club.
‘I was like, ‘Giggs you have to do what [the club] wants, we’ve all done it and it’s just your turn next’.
