Roy Keane GOES IN on Jack Grealish after winger’s display against Aston Villa

Roy Keane has called out Jack Grealish for his display against his former club Aston Villa in a 3-1 win for Manchester City.

Keane labelled Grealish ‘Tom Daley’ after his theatrical tumble to earn Manchester City a penalty that Riyad Mahrez would eventually score to put his team 3-0 in the first half against Villa.

On Sky Sports yesterday, Keane said: “You have to give the penalty, Jack was being very, very smart. Very naïve the defending from Jacob Ramsay but he does kind of catch him.

“Jack kicks himself more than anything else. He’s more like Tom Daley but I think it is a penalty and it’s clever from Jack. He gets his body across, he knows exactly what he is doing.

He was doing this for years at Aston Villa. He used to frustrate lots of teams.

But when you get across people in the box you are almost asking to be punished. Ramsey is trying to get himself out of it, but Jack’s clever enough to take the contact.

The only negative of the match came in the form of Erling Haaland, who had to be substituted at half time with a thigh issue, putting him in doubt for City’s bumper clash with Arsenal in the league on Wednesday evening.
