The former Manchester United and Ireland captain was in Cork this afternoon and popped in to give a helping hand with Cork Penny Dinners. The 50 year old loves coming back to his native city whenever he can to visit his mother. The International break is on for the next two weeks and with the down time from his role on Sky Sports the Cork man decided to come home and help with the sandwich making.

The ladies were delighted to have the extra pair of hands to help them today.
