Football Insider are reporting that the former Manchester United captain is back in the frame to become the new Celtic manager as Eddie Howe is having second thoughts about taking up the job with the Scottish club. Eddie Howe has an impressive managerial CV, but there’s no doubt that Keane would be blockbuster and has managerial experience in the game and also player for the hoops.

Would you like to see the Corman in the hot seat at Celtic park, surely it would be box office Keane v Gerrard, Ireland v England and all that goes with it. Surely it’s worth a game and surely Keane deserves another shot in a managerial role.
