Former Roscommon Player Tragically Killed in New Zealand

Roscommon GAA club Clann na nGael have paid their respects to their former player Declan Curley who was tragically killed in the early hours of Saturday morning while out for a walk in Wellington. The former Clann na nGael club man was struck and killed by a vehicle, an appeal for eye witnesses has been issued by police following the tragedy.

“It is with deep regret and sadness that the club has learned of the untimely and tragic passing of Declan Curley,” Clann na nGael GAA said.

“Declan played underage football with Clann na nGael and followed the progress of Clann and his beloved Roscommon with great interest.”
