As the end of year reports and finances are coming out, it’s amazing to see how much county’s have spent on their teams throughout the year. One thing that is becoming very clear, it’s far from an amateur sport ..

This level of spending on bloated back room teams will have repercussions. Volunteers will eventually down tools as they do most of the work and aren’t blind to what’s going on.
A sport that was for the purist, the amateur, inclusive and not elite!!! It’s on its knees. All of these things are gone. Sad to see

The GAA need to face reality here, it’s gone professional, no doubt about it ..
