The former Ireland and Ulster hooker Rory Best will be the forwards coach for Fiji and their fixtures this November against Spain, Wales and Georgia. Coronavirus related travel restrictions mean that all players, coaches and management based in the southern hemisphere including head coach Vern Cotter will not be permitted travel up north.
Gareth Baber will be the head coach and Duncan Hodge and Richie Gray will oversee the backs and ruck/contact area. We can’t wait for the November Internationals to get going and we look forward to seeing how this goes for the former Irish captain.
Due to travel difficulties Fiji squad for November is entirely Europe based. Vern Cotter and his assistants not travelling either. So former 7s coach Gareth Baber takes temporary charge, with Scotland's Duncan Hodge and Ireland's Rory Best as assistants.https://t.co/UiHLYZnty9
