Cristiano Ronaldo SLAMMED by Juventus legend for leaving club in ‘serious trouble’ with Man United return

Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has been accused of leaving Juventus in ‘serious trouble’ by departing the club in the manner in which he did.

Ronaldo officially departed Juventus on transfer Deadline Day. While the deal was in the works for a few days before then, he didn’t give the Italian giants much of an opportunity to replace him.

Juventus will now be starting the season without the firepower Massimiliano Allegri would probably have liked to have. The jury is still very much out on Moise Kean.

It’s frustrating for everyone with any affiliation to Juve, a standpoint which we perhaps haven’t considered enough while lost in the pandemonium surrounding Ronaldo’s return.

Juventus great Alessio Tacchinardi has helped provide some insight, as quoted by The Sun:

“He should have had a different way out, not leaving in his private plane while Allegri spoke on the eve of the Empoli match.”

“He should have waited for a press conference to say goodbye to the fans: the Bianconeri wanted, no, they deserved a different farewell.”

“Cristiano Ronaldo put Juventus and its market strategy in serious trouble by leaving with just a few days to go.”

Ultimately, Ronaldo is well within his rights to think about his own interests and has no obligation to give Juventus a grand farewell.

It would have been the classier thing to do, though…
