Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly RIPPED into his Manchester United teammates at half-time of their clash with Atalanta midweek.

The Red Devils headed into the half-time break 2-0 down at Old Trafford following a dismal display in the opening 45 minutes.

With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s stewardship already under the spotlight, the Man United boss could ill afford to suffer another negative result on home turf.

Thankfully for Solskjaer, even if he doesn’t have the managerial capabilities to inspire a turnaround, Cristiano Ronaldo apparently does.

According to The Sun, Ronaldo tore into his Man United teammates at the half-time break, apparently asking them ‘if they were not ashamed’ with their performance in front of the home crowd.

Whatever Ronaldo said – it worked. Man United came from two goals down to win 3-2 and take all three points, with Ronaldo’s late goal sealing the deal.

While Man United fans will be delighted to have a character like Ronaldo in the dressing room inspiring the players, they must be concerned that it’s not Solskjaer doing the inspiring.

He is their manager, after all…
