Cristiano Ronaldo’s future to be determined in coming weeks, with PSG and Man United circling

Cristiano Ronaldo looks likely to be heading out of the Juventus exit door, should the Italian champions fail to qualify for the Champions League.

It would have been unthinkable at the start of the season that Juventus, who had won every single scudetto since 2012, would have a battle on their hands to avoid dropping into the Europa League.

However, such has been the disappointing nature of Andrea Pirlo’s debut campaign in charge, Juve are clinging onto a top four spot in Serie A by the skin of their teeth.

As a result, contingency plans need to be prepared for the scenario which would see Juventus finish fifth and miss out on the Champions League riches.

According to Tuttosport, one of those plans would be to sell Cristiano Ronaldo, with the club unlikely to be able to afford his wages without competing in the UCL.

With five games left to play in Serie A – Juventus, and Ronaldo, are embarking on a potentially pivotal few weeks.
