Talk about coincidences… Romelu Lukaku will have his Chelsea medical EXACTLY ten years after his first one.
Lukaku is on the verge of returning to Chelsea, seven years after the Blues decided to sell him to Everton on a permanent transfer.
The Belgian hitman has gone on to develop into one of the best strikers on the planet, which has forced Chelsea into breaking the bank in order to re-sign him.
According to The Athletic, €115M is the figure Chelsea will be parting with to sign the 28-year-old. He’ll be worth every penny if he fires them to the Premier League title.

With the deal set to go through, all that remains is for Lukaku to undergo medical tests to ensure that Chelsea are signing a fit and healthy player.
Bizarrely, it’s turned out that he will have his second Chelsea medical exactly ten years, to the day, after he had his first.
Full circle.
