Manchester City midfielder Rodri scored a dramatic injury-time winner against Arsenal at the Emirates.
The champions made hard work of their trip to North London on New Year’s Day, having found themselves a goal down via a smart finish from Bukayo Saka.
Riyad Mahrez struck from the penalty spot marginally before the hour mark, which left the game perfectly poised for the final 30 minutes.
Arsenal played well enough to get something out of the game, even in the absence of the isolating Mikel Arteta, but a late goal from Rodri ensured City would take the points.

Kevin De Bruyne swung the ball in from deep, with it falling kindly at the feet of Rodri, who made no mistake in beating Aaron Ramsdale from close range.
Rodri is hardly renowned for his finishing ability and doesn’t tend to find himself in positions of this nature, but Pep Guardiola will be delighted that he did today.
