Robert Lewandowski tells agent to negotiate transfer to this European giant

Bayern Munich superstar Robert Lewandowski has reportedly instructed his agent to secure him a move to Real Madrid in the summer.

Lewandowski has achieved virtually all that is possible in Germany across stints with Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.

While Gerd Müller’s all-time scoring record is in his sights, you could forgive the Polish goal-machine for wanting a new experience before he hangs up his boots.

According to Spanish publication AS, that new experience could be at the Santiago Bernabeu, with Lewandowski keen on securing a move to Real Madrid.

The 33-year-old has reportedly told his agent to set the wheels in motion over a transfer to Los Blancos, where he would unite with Karim Benzema in an all-star attack.

You would assume that Florentino Perez would be interested in bringing Lewandowski to the club, but it remains to be seen whether it would be financially plausible.

Real Madrid’s interest in Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe has been well-established. Can the club actually afford to sign both while balancing the books?

Don’t be surprised to see Perez give the European Super League one final push in the run-up to the summer transfer window in an attempt to bag a quick buck.
