Robert Lewandowski involved in dressing room bust up after loss to Manchester United

Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski was allegedly involved in a dressing room row with a teammate after his side’s Europa League loss to Manchester United on Thursday.

After drawing the first leg 2-2 last week, Barcelona got off to a great start in the second as Lewandowski scored a penalty after 18 minutes.

However, Manchester United changed a few tactics for the second 45 and came out an entirely different team, dominating the Catalans from back to front as they turned the game on its head to win 2-1.

After the match though, things were said to have turned sour, with the former Bayern Munich man confronting youngster Ansu Fati in the dressing room over a missed chance towards the end of the match.

According to AS, the Pole spoke to Fati after the young Spaniard allegedly got in the way of a cross intended for the striker, but that is as far as the conversation went.

Despite them being knocked out of the Europa League, Barcelona still have a serious advantage over their counterparts back in La Liga, finding themselves top of the table by eight points ahead of rivals Real Madrid, whom they will also face in the Copa del Rey semi-finals on Thursday.
