The former Manchester United and England central defender was speaking on his weekly podcast and gave his preference for who he would choose as the next Red Devils Manager.

Discussing a range of candidates, Ferdinand told Vibe with Five that he’d go for Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel over the likes of Mauricio Pochettino or Erik ten Hag.

Surely if/when the Chelsea situation is solved the German manger Tuchel won’t be leaving the West side of London for a struggling Manchester United and a team that needs a lot of work..
