The latest edition of the Ring Magazine pound-for-pound has been released β do you agree with the updated standings?
While no fighter is in the gym with the intention of making it into the top ten pound-for-pound fighters on the planet, as judged by Ring Magazine, inclusion in the list is a pretty good indicator that you have enjoyed significant success in the ring.
Considering the sheer amount of world champions included in the latest top ten, you can rest assured that inclusion in the standings is directly correlated to winning belts, which ultimately is the goal for every top fighter.

Tyson Fury is not included in the list as he is retired, or so he claims. It would be intriguing to see where he would rank if the Gypsy King was intending on carrying on fighting and going for undisputed status in the heavyweight division.
Oleksandr Usyk is a worthy candidate for the number one spot, having been the undisputed cruiserweight champion and later the unified heavyweight champion. Whether he will remain there following his rematch with Anthony Joshua remains to be seen.
