The hotly anticipated documentary was directed by Ferguson’s son Jason and it sees the iconic Ferguson recount the most important stories of his life, both in and out of football.
The film was recorded while Sir.Alex was recovering from the life-threatening brain haemorrhage he suffered in 2018 when he was aware that his memory may be affected so he wanted to recall as much as he could.
Speaking about the documentary, Ferguson said: “Losing my memory was my biggest fear when I suffered a brain hemorrhage in 2018. In the making of this film I was able to revisit the most important moments of my life, good and bad. Having my son Jason direct this film has ensured an honest and intimate account.”
The film covers Fergusons life from growing up in a working-class area in Glasgow to the dizzying heights of global football success and everything in between.
‘Never Give In’ is also set to be hosted by The Glasgow Film Festival who will be showing the movie online next month.
