It’s one year since we lost Sligo footballer Red Óg Murphy, only 21 years of age, extremely sad. Sligo won the division four league yesterday at Croke Park and the Sligo player Niall Murphy gave some lovely words as his teammates think of him on the day they won the division three league title.
Do not be afraid to talk to someone if you’re experiencing mental health problems. Help is available. That has to be the message for everyone out there. Red Óg Murphy is remembered by everyone in the GAA family.

The Championship starts in only a few weeks time and we can’t wait for it to get going. It’s going make for a great Championship and it’s going to be hotly contested.
