Real Madrid’s stance on Paul Pogba revealed in Spanish media – and it’s BAD news

Real Madrid are NOT interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, even for free, according to reports in Spain.

With Pogba out of contract in the summer of 2022, his departure from Man United looks to be a foregone conclusion.

Real Madrid, naturally, have been one side linked with securing his services. Pogba is one of the biggest names in the sport, with Florentino Perez obsessed with making annual vanity signings.

However, it doesn’t look as though Perez has any interest in signing Pogba, even if he were to depart on a Bosman and be available on a free transfer. Those are the claims made in the Spanish media…

Paul Pogba is reportedly NOT wanted by Real Madrid

Though there would be no transfer fee in any deal to sign Pogba, there would presumably be a hefty signing-on bonus, plus the mammoth agent fee to Mino Raiola and sky-high wages.

Signing a player like Pogba on a Bosman could be as pricey as forking out a considerably sized transfer fee for somebody else.

Considering he has been unable to establish himself among the world’s elite midfielders since signing for Man United from Juventus, Perez may well be right to steer clear.
