End of an era: Relief for Euro elite with Real Madrid mass exodus scheduled for 2023

Real Madrid may well be the reigning Champions of Europe but Los Blancos could soon have a HUGE rebuild on their hands.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men enjoyed one of the most astonishing Champions League runs there has ever been to bring the title back to where they would argue it belongs – Madrid.

Despite Kylian Mbappe having snubbed a move to Santiago Bernabeu, you imagine that Florentino Perez will be making significant investments into the squad this summer.

That’s just as well, not only to keep pace with the other top European clubs ahead of next season’s UCL defence but also as a preventative measure for what could come next year.

With Real Madrid potentially set to lose such a considerable amount of big names in a single transfer window, the rebuild could take several years – they must start now.

Perhaps the biggest concern is in midfield, which has proven to be the foundation of their success in recent seasons but could soon be in need of serious refreshment.

Eduardo Camavinga is a superb base to build from but further investment is required to ensure that they remain top of the class in that area of the field.
