Gareth Bale was abused by Real Madrid supporters after Friday’s training session, with one fan throwing a pen at his car.
Bale, who cost Real Madrid a whopping £85m back in 2015, has struggled to win over the fanbase, despite having produced some iconic and important moments at the Santiago Bernabeu.
As the years went by and Bale’s contributions dwindled, the frustration of the supporters towards him only intensified. Things have now reached boiling point, or so it seems.
As Bale drove his Audi SUV out of the Real Madrid training ground on Friday, one fan could be heard shouting “f*** you” at the Welshmen, with another throwing a pen at his car.

Bale stops and takes note of what’s happened before driving off and refusing to be drawn into an argument with the Los Blancos supporters who were abusing him.
It’s a real shame to see that it’s come to this point…
