Celtic overcame Rangers two one on Saturday in the Old Firm Derby and there was an incident in the game that has let a lot of Rangers fans raging.

If offside was checked, it means they thought it was a penalty. The restart should be a free kick for offside and not a goal kick as there was a consequence to the VAR check.

Never a penalty regardless of offside, not intentional, arms not unnatural and not a goal scoring opportunity…….we going back to the days when every handball is a penalty?
If we start giving penalties for a ball that’s going out of play, the game becomes a joke.

  1. Definitely a penalty hand to ball. You can see the movement should have also been a second yellow =red card offside doesn’t come into it on two levels cema doesn’t touch the ball before the hand to ball and offside doesn’t count as no direct goal been scored ref didn’t stop the game it was var to check for a penalty so penalty should have been given
