Hall of famer Randy Orton is set for an absence for the WWE, for reasons unknown.
Randy Orton is one of the most renowned and adored wrestlers in history. However, WWE fans are not likely to see him in action for a little while.
Orton was initially due to appear on this week’s episode of RAW. He didn’t end up being involved, with an explanation not having been provided.
Bryan Alvarez, speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, confirmed that the icon was going to be away from TV screens for “a little while.”
Alvarez stopped short of explaining why Orton was going to be a WWE absentee, nor did he provide any sort of insinuation as to the reasoning behind his mysterious absence.
We can only hope that all’s well and we get to see him back in the ring as soon as possible. His absence is felt – that’s for sure.
