Spartak Moscow winger Quincy Promes will be prosecuted by the Dutch Public Prosecution Service for attempted murder and aggravated assault, according to De Telegraaf.
In December of last year, Promes, who at the time was playing for Ajax, was detained by police in relation to an alleged stabbing that had occured earlier in the year.
The allegations made against Promes were from a relative, who claimed that he was stabbed during an altercation with the 50-cap Netherlands international.
The player himself has always denied the allegations made against him, even if they did cost him his career in his home country.
