Former West Ham player Carlton Palmer believes Declan Rice should leave the club this summer amid transfer speculation.
Rice has been linked with a move away from West Ham for some time now, with Arsenal reportedly very interested in him and Palmer said on Talksport that he thinks the midfielder should move on from the London Stadium this summer.
“He’s got to now make that next step from West Ham. No disrespect to him, but I’m talking about his career and going on.
“If Man City get him, then that will be a problem for everyone else, but I think he could play at any one of the top clubs and improve them.”
Palmer then admitted that he’d like to see the 24-year old head to the Emirates.
“I’d love to see him at Arsenal, especially with what Arteta’s doing with the younger players.”
