The 23-year-old Ivorian right-back was sentenced to two months in prison and handed a €21000 fine for assaulting a policeman – The PSG star has appealed the sentence.

Aurier will not spend time behind bars as French media outlets are reporting that the sentence is “convertible” so Aurier is highly unlikely to actually serve time. Community service seems likely.

Aurier was sent off in Friday night’s shock 2-0 Ligue Un defeat to Toulouse but the young Ivorian is still available to play away at Ludogorets in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
