Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to offer Kylian Mbappe almost £1m-a-week in a desperate bid to keep him at the club, according to the Independent.
Mbappe, who is considered by some to be the best footballer on the planet right now, is available on a free transfer on June 30th when his PSG contract expires.
The Frenchman fulfilling his dream by moving to the Santiago Bernabeu has looked like a foregone conclusion, but PSG appear to retain some hope of keeping him around.
According to information shared by the Independent, PSG are prepared to offer Mbappe record-breaking terms in hope of convincing him to extend his contract.

The report claims that the Parisiens are willing to get close to the £1m-a-week mark, something that Real Madrid would not be able to do.
Mbappe has to decide whether he is driven by his dreams or cash. Either way, he is going to be lining his pockets with hundreds of thousands of pounds, every single week.
It is worth remembering, though, that Mbappe was raised in Paris and supports PSG. Leaving the club would be difficult for him.
An offer for £1m-a-week could make it easy to stay.
