PSG could be set to make savage decision over Sergio Ramos’ future at the club

Paris Saint-Germain could reportedly be set to terminate Sergio Ramos’ contract – before the Spaniard has even made his debut for the club.

After Ramos failed to come to an agreement with Real Madrid over an extension to his contract, PSG wasted no time in positioning themselves favourably to secure his signature.

Though Marquinhos and Presnel Kimpembe had already formed a tight bond at the back, Ramos was seen as a player who could fill Thiago Silva’s void both on the pitch and in the dressing room.

However, it’s now November and the Spanish icon is yet to make a single appearance for the Parisiens. The 35-year-old has been out of action through injury his entire PSG career to date.

That would be incredibly harsh from Mauricio Pochettino and co, to force Ramos out of the Parc des Princes without having allowed him the opportunity to make an impact.

We’d take it with a pinch of salt, with the idea being slightly outrageous, but stranger things have happened in football…
