Preston North End have accidentally jumped the gun on Liverpool’s latest signing with the keenest of viewers spotting it immediately.

Ben Davies is on his way out of Preston as Liverpool struggle to find a fit centre-back in their squad. Reports coming through all day that Liverpool had agreed a deal for the 25 year old defender had been completed but now it has been announced.
After tweeting about their latest defensive signing to replace Ben Davies, they said Liam Lindsay would take Davies number 6 and would be replacing Davies as he moves to Premier League champions Liverpool.
The tweet has now been deleted as I’m sure Liverpool’s announcement wants to be the first to break the news.
