Premier League players face COMPULSORY coronavirus vaccinations ahead of new season

Premier League players and staff are set to be told they face COMPULSORY vaccination ahead of the new season, according to the Daily Mail.

The vaccination programme has long been described as the government’s way out of the coronavirus pandemic. Though, we are beginning to discover that it’s no silver bullet.

Though, the more people that decide to get themselves jabbed, the better chance we have of pushing back against the virus, or so we are continually told by scientists and government officials.

With the battle against COVID-19 spilling into the football world, which has struggled through it over the past 18 months or so, it appears as though vaccinations are set to become mandatory for those involved.

Premier League football has soldiered on through the COVID-19 pandemic

As per the Daily Mail, Premier League players and staff will be told that they must get themselves jabbed, with negative coronavirus tests no longer sufficient.

The report claims that there are younger players with reservations, which you can understand. After all, getting vaccinated is supposed to be a personal choice.

While we all want the same thing here – for football to continue and those participating to stay healthy – we’re not sure forcing needles into players’ arms is the right road to go down.
