England played Poland last night and drew one all away from home, one of the more disappointing moments and controversial ones was the booing of the Polish fans over the England players taking the knee. The Poland also didn’t take the knee, but their star striker Robert Lewandowski did however point to the badge asking for respect from the Polish fans.

The President of the Polish FA Zbigniew Boniek has criticised the taking of the knee in the past
“This is clear populism because nothing is done because of it.
“Footballers sometimes kneel and if you’d ask some of them why they’re kneeling, they wouldn’t even be able to tell you why.”
