Poland scored a stoppage time equaliser against England to keep their hopes of World Cup qualification alive.
The Poles knew that they had to get something out of this game in order to well-position themselves for the second-half of World Cup qualifying.
After Harry Kane netted from range in the second-half of the contest, you figured England were going to canter towards a sixth consecutive World Cup qualifying win.
However, Polish midfielder Damian Szymanski had other ideas, getting the jump on Manchester United’s Luke Shaw and heading home, leaving Jordan Pickford with no chance at all.
What a time to score your first international goal! 😮

A draw is far from a disastrous result from England’s perspective. Of course, they will be disappointed to have dropped points in the manner that they did, but there are major positives to be taken.
If Gareth Southgate was offered four points from trips to Hungary and Poland, he could haven it and run. England will be heading to Qatar in 2022, this is the most minor of blotches on their record.
