Former UEFA president Michel Platini has been released after being questioned by police over the awarding of the 2022 FIFA World Cup to Qatar.
Platini was head of European football’s governing body until being banned in 2015 for ethics breaches.
The three-time Ballon d’Or winner has always denied any wrongdoing.
