šŸšØLabelled the worst piece of punditry ever from Pien Meulensteen, even Redknapp was confused šŸ˜¬

Posted by

A lot of women on TV now have a tough job, especially when it comes to talking about football and especially since Joey Barton started to go after them two weeks ago!

Last night Pien Meulensteen came under the scope, see the video and some of the comments to go with it ..

MORE HERE: šŸšØCalls for a replay in the Old Firm Derby as there was blatant incident in the game that the officials missed šŸ˜¬

Why do they put these women pundits inā€¦ to tick a box! May as well grab a homeless person in off the streetā€¦ you would end up with better punditry.

Yeah because I didnā€™t hear a male pundit say this weekend ā€˜well at one down you need a goal to get back into the gameā€™ That is insight the fans at home just donā€™t have

Ffs and they wonder why Joey Barton keeps on about women talking about menā€™s football, Look at Redknapps face lol

Somewhere a qualified sports journalist who has done his/her dues on the local games hoping to get their chance will watch that and wonder why they bother. Shite.

  1. This is the result of a small minority of troublemakers wanting to fit square pegs into round holes!!! Every advert, tv programme, must have a woman or disabled person, a black or gay person.
I love all of these people, but stop shoehorning them into anything and everything!!! It doesnā€™t work!

        1. I have a diswasher at home and havent a clue how to work it
          Best left to the missus.
Stick to what you know has always been my motto.
          Darts is getting as bad.

    1. Class! Say it how it really is, shame some of us can’t just open up about the impulsiveness of the way the UK create such divide. Some things just work without trying to please differences in life. Whether it be equality, gender, sensuality or colour! What difference does it make! It makes it worse if you put it on a platform and make an issue of it! This is what is happening in our society and it is not going to get any better.

    2. Have you listened to many male football pundits? They would easily say things like this and so many of them can hardly sting a coherent sentence together. Gabby Agbonlahor, for example, is just so difficult to listen to. I think itā€™s just the curse of punditry.

    3. Agree William. We are treated like idiots by these ad agencies and tv producers.
Not only do they insult our intelligence with their box ticking but in my view they distort the very notion of equality.
The only test is competence – not skin colour, not lifestyle and not the nature of your genitalia!

    4. Honestly I so look forward to watching the games, but when the women are on there it really does my head in, I just want to turn the bloody thing off, got to the stage when I just mute it when the women are on there! Just awfulā€¦.

    1. Unfortunately I have to disagree with you on keeping woman out of the menā€™s game after all someone has to wash the kit after the game

    2. Yes, they have there own game, I canā€™t stand some of the women that commentate on menā€™s football, no passion, itā€™s boring.

    3. They don’t need to keep women out of the men’s game, just use women who are good at what they do and know what they’re talking about. Gabby Logan is a fine example of a female pundit who is excellent at her job.

      1. Spot on. Most of the female pundits and commentators are awful. Gabby isn’t. Hells bells off soccer AM wasn’t , and I’m sure there are some very knowledgeable ladies out there. But they aren’t the ones the BBC and sky sports foist on us.
One a few weeks ago said as a striker myself , I would have buried that bottom bins , whatever that is, but no , you wouldn’t because a good premiership keeper would blow your effort round the post with a good fart.
I’ll freely admit a top class female footballer is technically better than I’ve ever been , but I’ll guarantee ,they wouldn’t walk away from a tackle from any national League defender .

        1. Spot on I could put a pub side together of over 50’s even.now who would beat any professional women’s team. They don’t seem to realise the biological differences they think they play the same game when they clearly don’t.

    1. Raymond I totally agree, my wife and I now only watch football and lots of other sports events with the sound off because of clueless and irritating female pundits on all sports stations, its definitely not right but now politically expected.

  2. I used to love banter at half time between the pundits , always got a laugh. But since they decided to ruin it by sticking clueless women in I just make myself busy for 15 mins . Everything about them grates on my nerves. Total shambles. Iā€™m a female but there is just some things we not cut out for and being pundit on menā€™s football us major NO

  3. I mean, I agree, but keep Alex Scott on as presenter, sheā€™s gorgeous šŸ˜œ

Na in all seriousness, there are different roles. some of the females are decent presenters.

    1. And here he is. The 1 out of 22 that had to disagree, I wonder why you felt the need to dig men out.

  4. Besides her being terrible jaimie is so boring and I just fall asleep and there was no jokes banter interesting facts nothing !!

  5. Their box-ticking is being taken to ridiculous levels now, all in the name of diversity. I watched one Premier League talk show this week which featured a panel of one white woman, one black woman and two black men. It seems that white men are disliked by programming chiefs because this is now such a common occurrence that it can no longer be viewed as ā€œcoincidentalā€ but more like it is a policy to push their agenda.

  6. Women are allowed to be fans of the men’s game. They can make good pundits and presenters. Commentators, no. I turn the TV off as they start squeeling.

  7. Agree with all of the above. Itā€™s an absolute joke. Put a manā€™s match on, female presenter, female pundit, male pundit, female commentator, male commentator.

Put a womanā€™s game on, female presenter, 2 female pundits, 2 female commentators. Itā€™s come to the point I just watch the match, often without sound and donā€™t watch any of the in-between! Sick to death of it and Iā€™m not sexist, but some things should be left alone.

  8. Just sick of all this equality and woke bs! Ruined QofS, screaming women commentators and pundits that clearly donā€™t have a clue? I donā€™t care if your gay, black or a woman, however, I have a problem when the best person for the job is overlooked in favour of pc and diversity!

  9. I agree with all the aboveā€¦I canā€™t stand listening to the commentators and pundits anymore so donā€™t watch anymore alongside var Iā€™ve been driven away from the game Iā€™ve grown with for 65 years.

  10. 100Ā£ men pundits should do men games and women should just do women’s simple again people trying to just push it on us to except it izzy sorry but yr punditry is poor

  11. Just look at the soccer Saturday blokes been sacked because they felt pressure from the black community to have black people In the studio don’t matter who u are wat colour u are if yr gd enough then fine don’t just sack bodz cse u feel the heat and pressure its bs

  12. Have you heard yourselves man? šŸ˜‚
A bloke says something daft and itā€™s laughed off, a woman makes a mistake and sheā€™s ridiculed.
Sheā€™s certainly making more sense than the bunch knackers on this feed!

  13. Some of the men are bad enough to understand and now we have put up with women pundits, it’s a complete joke, let them commentate and discuss women’s football. Gone are the professional commentators who used to do the job well and without an ex footballer having to sit beside them. The likes of Brian Moore etc. were great commentators. You thought it was all over … it is now ..!!

  14. When Prime showed football last week they have a system where you can turn off the commentary but still hear the crowd. Its great just like being at the game but without the BS.

  15. I often wonder what the late and great Jimmy Hill and Brian Moore would of thought of today’s mens football punditry šŸ¤”

  16. 19 hundred and something somethingšŸ˜‘ well Iā€™m glad thatā€™s been cleared upšŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø
