UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has dropped his biggest hint yet that he could be preparing to return to action, six months after retiring.

Despite still being the promotion’s 155lb champ, Nurmagomedov has not fought since his latest title defence against Justin Gaethje last October.

Following the death of his father due to COVID-19 complications, the pound-for-pound king decided to publicly call it day before leaving his gloves in the octagon.

After much speculation surrounding whether or not the Dagestan wrestler may return, neither the fighter nor the UFC has made an official announcement.

However, in a recent social media post, the 32-year-old fighter hinted he could finally have made his mind up regarding a possible return to action.

Following a recent meeting with Lorenzo Fertitta, the CEO of the UFC’s founding company Zuffa, Nurmagomedov said “Dana White… Send me location.”
