UFC lightweight superstar Conor McGregor just couldn’t help himself as he took a sly dig at boxing great Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather over social media.

Mayweather, who turns 44 next week, boasts a perfect 50-0 boxing record with an equally impressive bank balance.
Despite being worth over $500m, the fighting superstar, who famously squared-off against McGregor in 2017, has recently fallen off Forbes’ top 10 wealthiest athletes rankings.
Although still one of the world’s wealthiest athletes on planet earth, given his inactivity due to retirement, Mayweather is no longer included in the illustrious sporting list.
In an attempt to bait his old foe into a reaction, UFC’s McGregor took to his social media to wish the sporting legend an early happy birthday.
Posting on his Instagram account, the Irish star uploaded an image of the pair staring down with the caption: “Happy birthday Floyd!
We miss you on the Forbes.”
