Arsenal have become the hot favourites to sign the Brazilian Philippe Coutinho from Aston Villa on a permanent bases. The 29 year old signed for the Birmingham club in January after struggling to make an impact with Spanish giants Barcelona since leaving Liverpool in 2018.

Aston Villa do however have a €40m option as part of their current loan deal.
