Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts set a new NFL record after his Super Bowl performance against the Kansas City Chiefs last night.
The matchup was was of the best Super Bowls in recent memory, with Hurts and the Eagles defeated by Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs who won the battle 38-35 to take the crown.
Despite the loss, Hurts set an unprecedented new record, becoming the first ever quarterback to throw for over 30 yards, rush for over 70 and score three rushing touchdowns in a single game and to do it on the biggest stage of them all is something truly amazing.

Hurts’ total stats for the game stood at 304 passing yards, three rushing touchdowns and 27 out of 38 passes completed.

The victorious quarterback on the other hand, Patrick Mahomes, threw for just 182 yards, further proving his ability to win games even without throwing the ball far, with the 27-year old now the proud winner of two Super Bowls since he was drafted by the Chiefs in 2017, further cementing himself as the best quarterback in the NFL.
